When Katie + Ryan reached out to us to shoot their wedding at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, we were so stoked because Kacey grew up in those mountains and had so many memories and so much love for them.
On our way up the hill we hit some rain which is good luck for your wedding day, but not necessarily every bride’s dream weather. Luckily, Katie wasn’t phased by a little drizzle. When we pulled up to the venue and saw the layer of fog across the lodge and lake we were SO excited to shoot this wedding. As if the location wasn’t dreamy enough, we knew this weather was going to make for some beautiful photos for this rad couple. Throw in a bridal party photo-bomber, a LOT of pregaming, and a Groom that couldn’t hold back the tears for his drop-dead-gorgeous Bride, and you’ve got the the ingredients for a pretty perfect wedding day.
