Tiffany + Alex | Desert Elopement

We pulled up to a dirt road somewhere outside Joshua Tree but feeling like the middle of nowhere. The Plan: set up for a hella rad elopement. Our bride, Tiffany, on a stool in the dirt with a beer in hand while Zenaida works her magic on Goldie Locks in her effortlessly boho long sleeve, floor length vintage lace dress by BHLDN.

After a sweaty hour or two of unloading, setting up, and finalizing, we were ready to start. Half a six pack left, a beautiful desert backdrop, and a perfectly tailored playlist filled with Bassnectar, Incubus, Alina Baraz, and Neil Young on hand. With the STUNNING, handmade invitation suite from Jenna Kristen made to perfection and the BEAUTIFUL macrame backdrop from Jackie of Olive and Ever we were feeling all the vibes. It was definitely warm but not unbearable and a nice breeze, perfect weather for an exchange of vows and a little slow dancing in the middle of nowhere. Chris and I spent the next three hours filming and photographing Tiff and Alex while they made-out, danced, laughed, and shared stories like how they met and when they brought home their fur baby Aurora.

At the end of the night we chilled on the back of the pickup truck in the middle of the desert, finishing off the beer and swapping lit-night stories before we packed up and headed home.
